　　Welcome to the 28th Conference on Mechanical Vibration and Noise (VIB). This longstanding event brings together researchers from across the globe to share ideas and results on all aspects of Vibration and Noise Engineering. The VIB Conference is sponsored by the Technical Committee on Vibration and Sound and supported by the Technical Committee on Multibody Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics.
