Position 1: System Control for Hybrid Vehicles (Automotive Engineering/Electrical Engineering)

The requirements are as follows:
1.       Good knowledge and/or experience about system control, microcontroller/circuit development
2.       Capability of conducting experiments
3.       Meet other requirements from the department (TOEFL, IELTS, or other English Tests, GRE  could be waived)

The following criteria are preferred, but NOT required:

4.       Knowledge/experience on electrical driving and hybrid-driving mechanism
5.       Knowledge on battery, fuel cell, internal combustion engine


Position 2: CFD Code Development (Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering/Thermal Science and Engineering)

The requirements are as follows:
1.       Good knowledge in fluid mechanics, heat transfer/combustion
2.       Good at computer programming (at least one of the following languages): FORTRAN, java, c, c++ for engineering computation.
3.       Meet other requirements from the department (TOEFL, IELTS, or other English Tests, GRE  could be waived)

The following criteria are preferred, but NOT required:

4.       Knowledge on KIVA, OpenFoam, Fluent, or other CFD/CAD software packages/codes.
5.       Knowing numerical method for engineering calculations or having experience on engineering calculation code development.
6.       Capability of conducting experiments
7.       Knowledge and/or experience on fuel cell and hydrogen technology
8.       Knowledge in gas turbine combustion
9.       Knowledge in internal combustion engine


Position 3: GUI (Graphic User Interface) Development (Computer Engineering/Science)

The requirements are as follows:
1.      Good at computer programming (at least one of the following languages): FORTRAN, java, c, c++ for engineering computation.
2.     Meet other requirements from the department (TOEFL, IELTS, or other English Tests, GRE  could be waived)


Position 4: Nano-materials with Fuel Cell Application (Mechanical, Automotive and Materials Engineering/Thermal Science and Engineering)

The requirements are as follows:
1.       Good knowledge in material science and engineering
2.       Capability of conducting experiments
3.       Meet other requirements from the department (TOEFL, IELTS, or other English Tests, GRE  could be waived)

The following criteria are preferred, but NOT required:

4.       Knowledge in thin film/coating technology
5.       Good knowledge in chemistry
6.       Knowledge and/or experience in fuel cell and hydrogen technology
