振动工程和机械技术第5次国际会议(VETOMAC V, Vibration Engineering and Technology of Machinery V, http://www.tvi-in.com/)即将召开。本次会议由中国力学学会、印度振动研究院和Altair共同主办，由华中科技大学和香港城市大学联合承办。详细资料请参阅附件中会议最新通知。交通和住宿信息稍后将发送给各位作者和注册参会者。


本次会议安排在2009中国力学大会(2009年8月24日至26日)闭幕之后，8月27日至28日(星期四-星期五)在武汉华中科技大学举行。请注意第三版会议通知中有关会议日期更改的内容。更改日期是为了方便同时参加两次会议，避免时间及旅途上的冲突。

经学术委员会审稿录用后的论文将发表于会议论文集。其中部分论文会将被推荐发表于Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica(网站：http://amss.hust.edu.cn/english/en/dqml.asp)或Advances in Vibration Engineering ( 网站：http://www.tvi-in.com/)。这两种学术期刊杂志均被SCI扩展版收录。

我谨代表组织委员会，邀请您参加此次会议。请将摘要(1页)和全文(不超过4页) 的Word文档发送到：dyna@mail.hust.edu.cn 。提交摘要的截止日期为2009年5月31日，而提交全文的截止日期则为2009年6月30日。我们期待您的参与。

Dear Professors and Colleagues,
  I apologize if you have received repeated emails about this conference announcment.

  It is my pleasure and honour to inform you of the forthcoming VETOMAC V (Vibration Engineering and Technology of Machinery V, http://www.tvi-in.com/), organized by both Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU). The conference is sponsored by The Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM), The Vibration Institute of India (VII) and Altair. Please find attached the latest conference announcement and details. Further information about travel and accommodation will be forwarded to authors and registered participants at a later stage.

  The conference will be held from 27-28 (Thursday–Friday) August, 2009 at HUST, Wuhan, immediately after CCTAM2009 (24-26 August 2009) organized by CSTAM. Please note the revised conference date in this 3rd announcement. The date was revised in order to faciliate interested authors and researchers to participate at both conferences back to back.

  All accepted papers, after a review by the technical committee, will be published in the Proceedings of VETOMAC-V. Selected papers will be recommended for publication in Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica (http://amss.hust.edu.cn/english/en/dqml.asp) or Advances in Vibration Engineering (http://www.tvi-in.com/) after proper reviews. Both journals are indexed in SCI-Expanded.

  On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate at the conference. Abstracts (one-page) and full length papers (maximum 4 pages in MSWord) are to be sent by email to the following address: dyna@mail.hust.edu.cn. The abstract submission deadline is 31 May 2009 while the deadline for full length paper submission is 30 June 2009. I look forward to your presentation and participation at VETOMAC V.
