Job Responsibilities:
l
Engineering position in Acoustics and Structural Dynamics.
l
Responsible for consulting on product development projects, overseeing sound and vibration test programs, developing product sound ratings, predicting product application sound levels, and applying new technology for product sound and vibration control.
Job Requirements:
l
MS Degree in Acoustical, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or Acoustics.
l
2+ years' experience in acoustics and/or structural dynamics required. Formal Course work in Acoustics required; formal course work in Structural Dynamics desired.
l
Working knowledge in Acoustics and Structural Dynamic Test Techniques and Dynamic Test Instrumentation.
l
Experience working with fan and air-handler noise issues desirable.
l
Ability to work in a team environment, applying theoretical and test knowledge to product sound and vibration control.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
